【From Takatsuki】 Anman Ruins Park Park Center Awarded in Osaka Heritage Awards

A park loved by the region, bustling with many people

▲ "Park Center" located in the western area of the park. The building houses park information, exchange and rest areas, community activity bases, and children's play facilities. Various events such as dance classes and workshops are also held here.
On January 13th, the Park Center, a central facility within the Yamashita Ruins Park (12-3 Hachidouzaka-cho, Takatsuki City), won the "Encouragement Award" at the 44th Osaka Urban Landscape Architecture Award (Osaka Traditional Landscape Award). This award is given to outstanding works among buildings and streetscapes that excel in terms of landscape. The Park Center was evaluated for its design that "blends into the 'traditional landscape' by harmonizing simple shapes with the beautiful surrounding mountain ranges, and by creating an open space that attracts citizens." "We are very pleased to receive this award seven years after the park's opening. We would like to continue making this park beloved by the local community and visited by many people," said the responsible officer from the Historical Site Development Promotion Section.
