THE ALFEE's collaboration with Chichibu Sadanomura Shogun Total Opening Ceremony is decided
In the hometown of THE ALFEE's bassist Kenji Sakurai, "Sakura," the "THE ALFEE 51st Winter Festival: Sakujo Yozakura 2025" will be held in December 2025 in collaboration with the Sakujo Yozakura Festival, and the entire region was dyed in THE ALFEE colors.
As our connection with the Tachikawa area deepens, we are pleased to announce the collaboration between "Tachikawa Sotō Goshō × THE ALFEE," a special event occurring once every 12 years, where a legendary figure in Japanese music history will intersect with unique prayers.
"Chichibu Satoji Goshu Sōkai-chō" is an event held at the 34 Kannon pilgrimage sites in Chichibu, where secret Buddha images are collectively unveiled once every 12 years on the year of the Horse. This year marks the year of the Grand Unveiling of the Horse Year, gathering people's prayers and wishes in the Chichibu area. Meanwhile, the rock band THE ALFEE continues to connect people's hearts through music across generations, even as they celebrate their 51st anniversary (Takamiizawa Shunhiko and Sakazaki Yukihiro were both born in the Year of the Horse).
Under the common theme of "Prayer," "Time," and "Inheritance," this is a new story of Chichibu born from the fusion of traditional culture and modern music. In this collaboration, we will offer special programs commemorating the Chichibu Jukai Gozai Taisai, as well as limited-time experiences such as "Potekuma-kun Alfie Chichibu Jukai ver."
